Japanese grass. A clump forming perennial grass found in wooded and mountainous areas of japan. Leaves are bright yellow with narrow green stripes becoming red and flushed in autumn. Grow in humus rich free draining soil in full sun or part shade. Good rock garden or for mass planting. Deciduous . Cut to ground level in winter.
