PLANTZ IS A GROWERS NURSERY IN CHRISTCHURCH, SUPPLYING A SELECTION OF NATIVES, HEDGING, PERENNIALS AND TOPIARY

Brent first entered the industry after completing a degree in horticulture and management from Lincoln University and has been growing plants ever since, but now spends more time advising clients on their landscaping requirements, ensuring they are purchasing the right plant for the right place.

Our growers nursery in Christchrch now offers online plants for delivery NZ wide. Whether its a hedging plant, native trees or easy-pruning topiary, look no further than our popular native nursery.

Chris has a background of floristry and for several years now has been supporting Brent with growing plants. With her love of foliage and varying textures and her eye for colour she has been sneaking in more flowering plants or plants with fabulous foliage, which are always useful for arranging.

PLANT PLACEMENT

A service that has become popular over the last few years is the plant placement option. This is great for the fit and energetic and can save you thousands on your landscaping project.

After a site visit and discussions with you we then provide the plants place them in position and you get to dig the holes.

What we do

Our plants can be purchased at our Property at MOTUKARARA where we grow almost everything.

Stock includes natives, perennials, topiary and some hedging at Motukarara which are provided in various sizes. The majority of our plants are either in a landscape grade (equal to a 1 or 2 or 2.5 litre pot).

Getting great results from your garden is important to us, so purchasing the right plant for the right place is imperative. Please if you are unsure what to buy don’t hesitate to ask. If you have a larger area it may be best that we visit the site first. Check out the consultation page for some before and after photo.

Freight

As plants can be awkward and heavy to freight the costs can vary so we have tried to simplify this by creating different options for the two Islands. Couriers usually have a maximum weight of 15 or 20 Kg which is what we have worked on. Please choose the correct delivery option from the drop down box, if it seems excessive please contact us directly.

For larger orders we will use a freight company so either please phone us directly or use the collect from the Nursery option and we can invoice the freight separately
